I have been writings songs since the day I was born. Many of these songs oon this album called "Ask for Love" were written in the last 2-3 years in Portland, some were written in my time in Arcata, Long Beach and my home town. This is a demo. I self recorded every single track except 2 ( "Freedom" and "The Meaning") which were recorded by Alyssandra Nighwonger at the Viento Y Agua. I used one mic, most of them with a zoom recorder, one with my phone, others with my computer microphone. They are all live, very little to no editing, mostly to help transitions with fade in and outs, cut out silence at the beginning and ending, amplify volumes, clippings. I'm trying to say these are raw. I recorded them in rooms of house i rented, friends houses, one at a bar. The songs often have intentions of self empowerment delving into the depths of emotions. Some of the intentions for me putting out this album is to connect with the musical community, to see what is out there, connect with life and source like everything else we all do in our lives, getting donations to help produce more recordings with sound engineers and be able to perform all around the world at whatever happennings, collaborating with performances, and not to mention for your enjoyment and possible inspiration. So I gift to you "Ask for Love"
